Welcome to Onside ("we," "us," "our," "the Platform"), operated by Onside Sports Technologies Ltd, a company incorporated in Nigeria. By creating an account, or by using any feature of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform, regardless of your country of residence, even where local law permits a lower age for related activities. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. We reserve the right to request age verification and to suspend or terminate any account where we reasonably believe the user is under 18.
Onside is a sports analytics and staking-calculation tool. We provide: statistical and AI-assisted analysis of football matches, staking and hedge calculations based on odds you or we input, and organizational tools for tracking your own betting activity.
Onside is not a bookmaker, betting exchange, or gambling operator. We do not accept stakes, hold funds for wagering purposes, or place bets on your behalf. We do not provide financial advice, investment advice, or licensed betting advisory services of any kind. Nothing on this Platform should be construed as a recommendation to place any specific bet.
All predictions, confidence percentages, staking calculations, and analysis provided by Onside are probabilistic estimates, not guarantees of outcome. Football matches are inherently unpredictable. Historical data, AI-generated research, and statistical models can be wrong, can be based on incomplete or outdated information, and can fail to anticipate events (injuries, weather, refereeing decisions, and countless other factors) that affect a match result.
You acknowledge and accept that:
Certain features of the Platform use artificial intelligence (including third-party AI models) to research matches and generate confidence ratings and written analysis. AI-generated content:
We may offer a free trial period. Features available during a trial are determined solely by us and may change at any time. Trial access to any paid feature does not create an ongoing entitlement to that feature.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
Refunds: Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun, including if you do not use the Platform during that period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review the matter in good faith.
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (currently Paystack, with Stripe planned for international users). We do not store your full card details — this is handled entirely by our payment processors in accordance with their own security standards.
We may change subscription pricing or tier features with reasonable advance notice to active subscribers.
Onside is an analytics tool, not a betting platform, but we recognize we operate adjacent to an activity that can cause real harm when not approached carefully. We ask every user to keep the following in mind:
Treat every confidence rating and staking suggestion from Onside as one input among many — never as certainty. Only ever risk money with a bookmaker that you can genuinely afford to lose. If you notice betting starting to affect your finances, relationships, work, or wellbeing, please pause and seek support — you are not alone, and help is available.
If gambling is causing you harm, the following Nigerian organizations provide confidential support: Gamble Alert (gamblealert.org) and GamblePause, which operates Nigeria's first free gambling rehabilitation service in Lagos. International users can also reach Gambling Therapy (gamblingtherapy.org), a free, confidential service available worldwide.
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell Platform data or AI-generated content at scale; share your account credentials or resell access; attempt to circumvent subscription tier restrictions; or use the Platform to harass, abuse, or defraud others.
All content, design, calculations methodology, and software comprising the Platform are the property of Onside Sports Technologies Ltd, except for third-party data (match odds, live scores, AI model outputs) which remain subject to the rights of their respective providers. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative products from the Platform's proprietary features without written permission.
The Platform relies on third-party services including but not limited to: odds and fixture data providers, AI providers (including Anthropic), search data providers, payment processors (Paystack, Stripe), and hosting infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or conduct of these third-party services, though we select them in good faith.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onside Sports Technologies Ltd, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any financial losses, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to losses incurred from betting decisions influenced by Platform analysis. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Onside Sports Technologies Ltd from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or non-payment. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to active users (e.g., by email or an in-app notice) with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
